Oh, my son. It feels like yesterday we made these handprints. Handprints in freshly laid concrete is something my daddy always had us do as kids. Like our little hands were frozen in time. When we did Caden's first set of senior pictures, we were home between thunderstorms. Sometimes I find that is when the sky is at its prettiest. So, this day, we ventured out twice: once for cap/gown pictures and once for a casual set. That easily landed us here, on the side of our home. We have focused so hard this year on just marking off the classes one by one that I opened my eyes one morning, and here we are, finishing up the last classes and almost ready to move on. The cap and gown has arrived. The diploma is here, and the date is set. Congratulations, my love. It has been a blessing homeschooling you.

Hey, Guys! I know it’s late, but we just left after getting the backdrop set up for the 2025 Homeschool Dance for Missions Prom!! Y’all be sure to give a shout out and a thank you to everyone who showed up tonight to make your prom special this year! As always, we are doing $5 digital images, and all profits roll forward to the backdrops for future dances. Can’t wait to see you from 6-10 tomorrow night (May 10, 2025) at the Ragley Rec Center.

After the dance at the beginning of January, I took off for a bit to just be able to breathe and reflect. I looked at what I want this next year to look like both in business and with family. I've been so blessed with such amazing clients and businesses to work with. Over the years, we've invested in people who have taken us in as a part of their family, and I am so thankful for that. We've grown together through weddings, births, Baptisms, First Holy Communions, and major life shifts. Carefully with tears and laughter, we've taken that first family portrait after loss, or the one you know will be the last. So many of these photographs never make it online because of how sensitive their subjects are, but they make it on walls. That's what matters. You see, when we look back on pictures, it's the memories of the day and timeframe we are looking for. I've heard, "My daughter lost her tooth that night!", or "Mavy! Can you edit out this gash!?! He decided to leap off the bed straight into the wall last night!" This is why we take pictures. We have a story to tell from each. Make it a point this year to take the picture!

I'm looking forward to a great year, and I cannot wait to continue preserving your favorite memories.

I'm still slightly obsessed with the cuteness of the Watkins crew!
