Photographers be aware that there is a scam going around. I was talking to a guy (that already seemed sketchy because there was no info on his profile) about taking photos for a senior soccer photos. He offered to send a digital check (sketchy part #2).. I have him my email and info to send it (just trying to see what it was all about). Then he proceeded to ask me to take payment for the videographer and pay them when the check went through (thats a scam I fell for in modeling when I was young). After that I told him I don't feel comfortable doing this shoot and he got defensive (another red flag)... so please don't fall for things because they seem like a nice payday. I only continued to talk to him to try and get as much info as I could... but I kniw this scam now and the check will be fake, the bank will somehow clear it and then after you use the money, the bank will make you pay it back. If you give the "videographer" their money, it will actually be them taking the money because the videographer is fake. If you won't do that then they will ask for a refund because they can't do the shoot for whatever reason.
