I came from the planet Foton and came to Earth on vacation to photograph celebrity droids and robots in Hollywood, but instead crash landed in Seattle. I am trying to make some money to repair my space ship so I can get back to my planet FOTON. But, I also want to learn about your species and how you interact at such festivities. So, I went to work for a great photography studio in the greater Wes

tern Washington area called f7 photography. They are awesome people, you must meet them. I can photograph your wedding or party event and capture you, your friends, and family doing silly and funny things using my props in my space container. I even have cool backgrounds that I use to make you look like you are in a studio.

Are you familiar with Contax? 📸
The brand began in 1932 as a German camera model within the prestigious Zeiss Ikon line, and later became a brand name. From the outset, Contax cameras were hailed among the world's finest, boasting top-notch Zeiss interchangeable lenses.
One unique characteristic of the Contax design was that it allowed a higher maximum shutter speed. The top speed was 1⁄1000s, then increased to 1⁄1250s in the Contax II. Kyocera acquired Yashica/Contax in 1983 and continued to manufacture products under the aforementioned brands.
Unfortunately, 2005 marked the end of Contax production. Today, the brand rests in the hands of Carl Zeiss AG, a silent testament to an era of photographic excellence. 📷✨

Let's dive into the captivating history of Polaroid! 📷✨ Founded in 1937 by Edwin H. Land, this well-beloved brand brought instant photography to life with the eponymous Land camera, a decade after its inception. The original design tasked the user with releasing the film manually by pulling a tab and peeling the negative from the finished positive print. It wasn't until the 70s that the prints began ejecting from the camera automatically!

Land ran the company until 1981 – leaving well before the Polaroid Corporation declared bankruptcy in 2001. Its brand and assets were then sold off. Years later, a new Polaroid company formed, and the brand assets changed hands a few times before being sold to Polish billionaire Wiaczesław Smołokowski in 2017. This deal allowed a small competitor brand called Impossible Project to rebrand as Polaroid Originals in 2017, and eventually as Polaroid in 2020. The brand is now popular in ways that many thought impossible! 😉

In an era where it's becoming more popular to print images and shoot film again, we're happy to see legacy brands like Polaroid being brought back to life. 🎞️

It all started with a simple question, “Why couldn’t it be a Robot?”

In 2011 the late Jennifer Guzman – co-founder and creator behind Foto Robot – asked that same question during a strategy meeting. Her vision was to create an interactive, full service photo booth with personality. No more boring ipad stands or stuffy old booths! And with that, our white board musings became something entirely new – Foto Robot.

With the novelty, technical skill and customizations for any client, our group of nine photo booths has held us steady for the last decade and more. We can’t wait to see where the next year takes us!
Though Jenny is no longer with us, we continue her mission to expand Foto Robot and to capture the joy of human connection. Without her, we wouldn’t exist. May her legacy live on through her incredible ideas!

Airbus Robotics celebrated the final days of summer by treating their hard-working employees to an annual picnic at the Mukilteo Baseball Fields back in August! ☀️ There was fun for all ages with a bouncy house, lawn games, trivia & raffles. Employees were encouraged to bring the whole family – which included pups! 🐶 And of course, our guy Foto Robot was onsite to capture the best moments! Rain or shine, indoor or outdoor, we've got it covered 😎

Our heart booth fit right in at such a lovely celebration ♥️ To match the forest glam theme of the event, we collaborated with the client to print a custom floral backdrop that blended perfectly with the decor.
