Some of the most underrated wedding photos are guest portraits! And I see so few wedding photographers making them a priority. As much as I love taking pictures of pretty wedding day details, it’s the people who truly make the day special. It’s the photographs of your family and loved ones, not the tablescapes, that you’ll cherish most in 50 years. These are the photos that will become heirlooms.

Wow wow wow! Mini sessions are nearly sold out already!! I only FIVE spots left! Finally logging back on to Instagram after not posting a wedding photo in well over a YEAR! The 2022 wedding season was ridiculously/wonderfully busy, and all of my energy went to serving my clients (also growing a human!) instead of social media. Maternity leave is now coming to an end, and I'm so excited to jump back in and start sharing images from the archive. Starting with this photo I made on my own wedding day of my bouquet by the incredibly talented 💐

As a wedding photographer my strongest advice will always be to plan your wedding exactly how you want it to be.

Take time to focus on what’s most important to you as a couple.

Because I'm all about less posing and more laughing. Less trendiness and more timelessness. Less tradition for tradition's sake and always more meaningful moments.
