Sometimes even the best plans get a little rewritten by the weather… but honestly, it wouldn’t be the PNW without those moody cloudy spring days ☁️

I typically only reschedule if there’s a 30% chance of rain or higher, but it also depends on all the moving parts involved. Sometimes we’re coordinating multiple schedules, and a cloudy day ends up being the best option for everyone — and I truly don’t mind. Some of my favorite images have actually come from overcast evenings like this.

It is always so special when families come back to me.

I photographed this sweet family before, and now I get to watch them get ready to welcome another baby. That really means so much.

This little big sister was so cute with her mama, and I just love the way they are looking at each other here. These are the tiny moments that make maternity sessions feel so meaningful.

I feel really lucky to photograph families through more than one season of life.
