Is it fall? Yesterday’s wedding felt like maybe it was. But it felt like TJ & Kate’s wedding was this huge anticipated release of joy for all friends and family in attendance. Every speech and each conversation seemed to have themes of “they are truly meant for each other” and “they are both the most thoughtful people”. It was hard to disagree. It was also easy to photograph. Thank you for having me along, truly.

Carson & Annika created an environment and feeling around their wedding that was palpable and infectious. One of the main ways you can tell the guests are having a great time is the dance floor, and the floor last night was lit up for 2+ hours. The joy was overflowing and everyone had a huge smile on their face. What a fun day to document! More photos to come but here’s a few to get started 🤓 Congrats to C&A!

Engagement sessions are always fun. There’s no time crunch, unlimited creative freedom, usually a pretty spot to enjoy the scenery, and in this case…two rad people that are getting married in a few months! Thanks Carrie & Andrew for an awesome evening 🫡

Slide 5 was the peak of the day 🥹 But for real, this whole day was peak. Evergreen Gardens Wedding & Event Venue provided the best backdrop and ambiance, and the rest played out like a fairytale of perfectly planned & relaxed fun (thanks to Gathered Co.) Jeremy & Moe…you guys are so appreciated and clearly so loved by many. Not a dry eye in the house! 🙌🏻 Congratulations on a beautiful wedding and start to your marriage🎉

In the middle of a crazy wedding season, we squeezed in a family session. In fact we are squeezing in a lot of sessions between weddings haha but this one last night was lovely as usual….our 4th annual session with the Bourcelot crew! So fun to document every year for them as time keeps flying by.

It’s pretty safe to say now that the wedding season is in full swing and it’s ABSOLUTELY RIPPIN’ DUDE 🤘🏼Spencer & Josselyn’s party last night at was perfectly gorgeous and it felt like summer! Tears fell, incredible food was shared, and we had a ton of fun taking photos!!!

Some sessions go by in a flash, and even after an hour of photos it feels like we were just getting started. I think that’s part of why we like to shoot around sunset, not just for the great light, but to keep us from going for 3 hours 😂Very very excited for Travis & Brittney, who really are the ones who made this session so fun and easy! And barefoot! 🙌🏻

These amazing friends of ours live almost 6 hours away from us, so our time together is rare….but it is sweet. Family pics on their beautiful property were a must. Grateful for each one of them and for their hospitality. Wilson the horse is an absolute star as well 🤩

Our goal every session is to capture each couple as they are. To incorporate their surroundings in an interesting way. But also to create fresh art that can’t be reproduced. While we can’t claim to have achieved perfection on any of those goals, it feels like a worthy aspiration. Last night we got to meet Jacie & Alex, who drove nearly 4 hours (each way!) for this photo session. Which, is actually an honor, because we know how legs be crampin’ after 2 hours on most long drives 😜 Fortunately for all of us, the PNW really did its thing and naturally Stefan got all click happy - so here’s some of what we captured.
