Two more days until Christmas, and we’re truly feeling the holiday spirit.

We’ve been reminiscing on all of our sessions this year welcoming back returning families and meeting new ones, like the Saavedra family and their three beautiful boys.

Our first session with the Zapanta family! Such a beautiful family, joined by their son Zander and their pup, Barkley.

It’s always amazing how connected we all are—sharing stories, realizing we know some of the same people, and laughing at the most random things along the way.

Our first time photographing the Cardenas family this year was more than a pleasant experience it felt easy and familiar from the start.

Avery goes to school with their son, Santos, so we brought her along for some playtime while we captured their portraits. Moments like this remind us how beautiful it is to live in a close-knit community, and how special it is that Avery gets to tag along and photograph families she already knows.

We’re excited to watch them all grow together and look forward to photographing the Cardenas family for many years to come.

We probably spent hours talking about music and past experiences for hours. We could’ve probably shut down the place just talking.

We have crossed paths before from college and also we’ve been in the same party and know the same people. We are not making up for lost time, we are not catching up. We are just making the best of what we have now.

It brings us comfort having conversations with Eddy and Rachel of how we connected back and laughing we were in the same gathering with Eddy back in college. Cheers to good times then and present. 🥂

Although we only met the Dupras family a year ago during their first family portrait session with us, the connection was instant growing into more than just a client relationship, but a true friendship.
