We are all safe (Hughes Fam). It’s hard to put in words - and impossible to measure - the depth of gratitude we feel for all the support of family and friends - all of you.

Thank you for helping to keep our faith strong. We could never get through this without God, and without all of you, there’s just no other way to put it. Thank you all for your compassion, concern, care, love and incredible generosity. 💕

As far as I can see, everyone is fairing ok from Milton in our community, except for the total loss from Helene, but it was not gravely compounded by Milton. One day at a time, we will do the next right thing. Many of us will need to tear down and rebuild. It’s a long road ahead.

We are just unspeakably grateful to and for all of you. The best part has been connecting with some of you that we hadn’t in a long time. Love to you all. Bless you. THANK YOU! With Gregory G. Hughes 🙏🏼🫶🏼🫂

We lost everything in the storm beginning to make a little headway. Some out yesterday, more out today. It’s surreal. Still so much more to go: bedrooms, drywall, all cabinets in kitchen, office, bathrooms, etc. Managed to save some
Photos and memorabilia that were with us or high up, but everything is gone, (except all my clients photos- I have all of them!) including my livelihood for a while. I will be working on getting our house ready to demo and/or rebuild. Not even sure about that. I am grateful to all my amazing clients throughout the years- I am terrible about posting here. I will likely be focusing on films- Forever Family Keepsake Films in the future. Our entire community have been gravely affected. Prayers out to all far and wide who have also lost everything. 🙏🏼

Just got a graduation notification in the mail that I had recently taken photos of the graduate for - 🥳CONGRATULATIONS🥳 - and then flipped the card over to find photos of him from 2nd grade, 8th grade, and now a senior- all photos I had taken throughout the years. I am beyond grateful and honored to have been a part of his life and that you have always chosen CDH PHOTOGRAPHY to capture those moments. Thank you and thank you to all my amazing clients. You have no idea how much I appreciate you. 🙏🏼
