I really enjoyed capturing this wedding. There’s something special about documenting the little moments, the emotions, the laughter, and the love that people will look back on for years to come.

I’d just say, shoot what you like. Don’t chase what everybody else is doing or what makes money. It’ll eventually kill your creativity. That’s coming from a guy who did just that.

I’m back to enjoying it because I only shoot what I actually like.

Fathers aren’t perfect, but many are present. They’re learning, growing, sacrificing, and showing up every single day. To every dad putting in the effort: we see you. 🤍

When I photographed Damon and his father, what I witnessed was pure love, grace, and understanding between a son and his dad. It reminded me that sometimes understanding our fathers means recognizing they loved us with what they had and expressed love in the ways they knew how. The intentions were often pure, even when they were sometimes misunderstood.

I also saw a millennial father who is working hard, pushing through obstacles, breaking generational barriers, and still choosing to show up for his family every single day.

I wanted to give you your flowers, Damon. Thank you for allowing me to capture this moment. And to every father showing up daily for himself and his family your effort matters.
