Thank you all for coming by my page and seeing what DC 2 Photography is about. The name DC 2 Photography came from my initials. I am located in northern California, Eureka to be exact. It is a wonderful place to be especially if you enjoy doing nature like photography. There is so much beauty and chances to take new pictures in the surrounding natural landscapes as well as being able to explore in
to some of the less traveled areas where the less fortunate reside. The area I visit regularly is filled with graffiti creating a very urban effect to some of my photography. Having an environment as such providing such an array of photographic options is a blessing. My work space is wherever I go to take pictures which make things nice since I am not always stuck at a desk all day. That is unless I am going through photos and editing them for whatever reason. When I am at my desk though it is nice since I got music to listen to as I work on making my photos even more eye catching then my camera already has. I just recently (end of 2011) purchased a new camera with a couple lenses. The Canon T2i Rebel is an awesome camera with so much potential. The shots are clear as day and it gets colors you don’t even see sometimes. Working with Photoshop on my computer makes photography a lot more fun as well. Being able to adjust colors and manipulate photos using Photoshop allows photographers like me endless options and worlds of creativity to play with. I didn't really get into being behind the camera until the last couple of years despite always being an artist. I love to draw and color with as many mediums as I can. Color pencils, charcoal, pastels, learning paint and want to expand as much as I can with my creativity. A lot of my inspiration comes from family and friends who have watched me progress forward with my art skills and ability. They always encourage me to pursue a living in the art world. So here I am turning my hobby and passion into a business which I hope brings a smile to your face.
