Wedding, Fashion and even commercial, my goal for every shoot, is that when you see the pictures of who ever I captured, you might smile or hear the person laughing and that you would feel like you know them just based off of look

- Weddings are one of my favorite things, there aren't many things that bring me more joy then, watching for those special moments and capturing them. Weddings are meant to be timeless, special, and for ever remembered, this is why I am so passionate about them. Today, I am filled with gratitude for this brother!

To be seen in some rather challenging moments this last season and feel chosen and fought for is a gift.
I googled (lol) Proverbs and friendship, and Proverbs 17:17 came up: “A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.” Thanks for being this, Oscar. I know you are this for so many people in your life, and we are all so thankful.

I needed another reason to post some portraits… So I paid off my car! It’s actually such an insane relief to get rid of debt and I wanted to remember the day, thanks for picking up my camera and snagging these .ortiz! 📸

PROJECT COLLABORATION

I have always loved creating with friends. I’ve been doing it since I can remember, making my friends adventure, play, film parade music videos, you name it; I’ve probably gotten someone to try it with me. EVEN get in freezing cold water ‘for the shot.’ 😂🥶

Lately, it has been hard for me to create anything. This season has been the hardest for me to make time to be creative. I'm so busy; I have a social life, people I want to connect with, things I want to build money I want to make, and other things that.. “matter more.”

I decided to pull together a few friends and collaborate in a studio, pass around the camera, and shoot for fun. What a blast! As I was crafting this post, I reflected on how much better it is to do things alongside others- the color of life it adds, the unpredictability, and the fun. So worth it.

Now about this photo: I rarely do double exposures, but every once in a blue moon I get inspired by the idea and this was one of those times. It has to be one of my favorite wedding photos I’ve snapped- all of this was crafted in camera!!
