Hallstatt Austria. Nestled in the Alps, this quaint little town inspired me in a way I didn’t expect. Though it was bustling with tourists—even with restrictions on cars from outside residents—the town itself somehow remained small, peaceful, and quiet.
Edward, Mike, and I found refuge in a little café, where we settled in and soaked up the breathtaking views. Somehow, the crowds faded away. For a while, it felt as though we had escaped all the noise and busyness around us.
Words and pictures simply don’t do it justice. There was something soul-refreshing and deeply moving about that afternoon. I’m still in awe, and incredibly grateful for the reminder it gave me: even in the midst of busyness, there is a way to become quiet and still.
