It's been a while since I've shared an update, and a lot has changed around here.

Southern Exposure is going through a few changes, including turning our storefront into more of an art gallery while we continue doing what we love—photographing families, weddings, seniors, schools, and events throughout Northern New Mexico.

I also wanted to share a little update on Rachel. We are incredibly thankful for how far she's come and for all of the prayers, encouragement, and support you've given our family over the past year. It has meant more than you know.

Thank you all for continuing to support our family and Southern Exposure. We truly appreciate every one of you.

One thing I’ve learned from photographing weddings is that dads usually try pretty hard to keep it together… until they don’t.

Whether it’s walking their daughter down the aisle, seeing her in a wedding dress for the first time, or sharing a dance at the reception, those moments go by fast. I’m always glad when I’m there to capture them because they end up meaning a lot more a few years down the road.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. Thanks for all the rides, advice, support, and for being there when it mattered most.

You asked for them… so Summer Mini Sessions are officially here! ☀️🏔️

This summer, Southern Exposure will be offering Mini Sessions Monday through Thursday mornings in Red River for single-household families wanting a quick and easy way to update family photos while visiting the mountains.

These sessions are very similar to our popular ski season family photos — just with a beautiful summer mountain backdrop along the river in town!

Each Mini Session includes:
• A short 20-minute outdoor portrait session
• 5 digital files included
• An online gallery to view your images
• Additional print and product options available

As local photographers who have photographed families in Northern New Mexico for over 40 years, we know the best lighting and timing to create beautiful mountain portraits!
