His love for photography began 15 years ago in his high school’s darkroom. His passion for photography blossomed as he spent his early years studying photography and capturing the true beauty of the Black Hills. He met his wife Jessica in 2006 and they were later married in 2008. Jessica saw his talent and passion for photography and the outdoors and encouraged Kevin to pursue it as a career. His
education continued, as they moved to Powell, WY, where Kevin studied graphic design and also graduated with a degree in Photographic Communications. In Wyoming, Kevin expanded his photographic skills in several ways. He continued to hone his talent archiving photos for the Shoshone National Forest and creating giclee reproductions for the Big Horn Gallery in Cody, WY. He furthered his knowledge of photojournalism working for Cody and Beyond Magazine as well as advertising work for the website One Kings Lane. Kevin also added to his photographic resume’ by working on the memoir project of Gordon Barrows, the Co-Founder of World GTL Inc. and also as spending several years as the Lead Photographer for the Powell Tribune in Powell, WY. Apart from his strong photojournalistic and fine art work, Kevin photographic gifts include experience with freelance commercial work as well as portraiture and event/wedding photography.
