Those quiet moments, stealing the couple away after the wedding, the dances, just a few moments away from the hustle and bustle of a busy day...enjoying each other in the sunset, are seriously some of my FAVORITE moments in a wedding.

I'm not one to upsell really, but I always recommend couples choose a package that includes us staying for if it's in their budget to do so. It makes for some incredible images.

Good afternoon!

Wanted to get to posting some updates, as we're getting into my busiest season. Between Now and October pretty much, my bookings become fairly consistent. Especially with the addition of a few weddings. Here's what you need to know:

Moving forward ALL Regular sessions REQUIRE a 10 percent deposit to book, collected via paypal, cashapp or venmo. This deposit along with your email will be required to confirm your session.

Moving forward, ALL Weddings will not be booked without a signed contract and at least a 10 percent deposit. PLEASE inquire NOW if you want me to do your wedding, I need at least 60 days notice, 90 is preferable.

I still do consider payment plans and barters in some situations. EVERYONE deserves good photos, don't be afraid to ask! Things I will barter pictures for: Cleaning, Automotive Detailing, Nails, Massage, Waxing, Piercings, Handyman style help, etc. Bartering is NOT guaranteed and is at my discretion with a signed contract.

Today marks MMIW day. MMIW Day, observed annually on May 5, honors and raises awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ people, symbolized by the red dress.

In Canda, "Indigenous women face disproportionately high rates of violence, with over 60% experiencing physical or sexual assault in their lifetime....The red dress has become a powerful symbol of remembrance and advocacy. On May 5, communities across Canada and beyond participate in ceremonies, vigils, marches, and educational events. Red dresses are displayed in trees, windows, and public spaces, and participants may wear red clothing or accessories, paint red hands, or engage in storytelling to honor the lives lost. These acts serve both as a memorial and a call for justice, safety, and systemic change. (Source: Amnesty International Canada}
