While visiting my mom last week I was reunited with this old picture of my Nan and I. As someone who frequently combs through the photographs we’ve collected over the years I was surprised to see this image, a photo-booth snapshot that I’m less familiar with. I can’t remember the last time I’d seen this one but I felt it right away. A day with my Nan, maybe at the mall, maybe we went to see a movie, a full day together. I’m grateful it made it through multiple moves and now, back in my hands and renewed. It will be printed and framed for our home — taken care of forever.
