I bought my first SLR in 1984 and really began photography taking pictures in caves. Over the years, I’d done cave photography, landscape photography, wildlife photography, forensic photography, wild bird photography, captive snake photography, and model photography. In my personal page, I tend to fill my albums with many shots that I take. In this page, I’ll try to concentrate only on th
e best or most relevant images. Because this is my page, I can celebrate all of my photography and not just a single genre. In grad school at Penn State from 1986 to 1988, I took slides of friends in a college religious group and put the slides to music for presentations at the end of every semester. I dabbled at photographing people from time to time over the years, but my first real model shoot was in 2011. Since then, I’ve gone through periods where models weren’t readily available, but I’ve considered myself a model photographer ever since. I like to shoot in many genres, and I’m not sure what my best work really is. Model photography is the area where networking is most important, and this page will emphasize model photography. In 2005, I finally decided to buy a pet snake, and I’ve added numerous pets since then. I enjoy photographing them, and I’ve enjoyed photographing other people’s pet snakes. When I was trying to figure out a name to join a photography site in 2011, I had one of my pets on my shoulders at the time. As a result, I became “Python Photos.”
As a kid, I remember sitting at the back window of my house watching birds come to seed that we’d put on the back porch in the winter. My parents were backyard bird watchers, and an interest in birds has always been part of my life. This page will feature some of that photography.
