Wouldn't it be awesome if the trees would stay like this all year . I think it is done to make people have good feelings , just before they freeze and hate the winter !

here is another video of the dart , with me driving , After I sold the car and put the buyers Pump Gas Barton HEMI in it . We switched from 3.54 gears to 4.10's and it was on such a sticky track , The Stanton Track crew had that track like glue , I bent the wheelie bars that time out , and was only launching at 2800 rpms and shifting at 5200 . it was a big 557" engine with a .570" lift flat tappet solid cam . Barton told him it was good for 30k street miles before needing a refresh . It went a best of 9.90 at 135 mph on d.o.t. legal tires and mufflers etc with no chassis adjustments (it needed some ) or tuning . The loud cars you hear are not the dart , it was amazingly quiet for a 4" flowmasters

This was me (Ted ) driving the dart after I sold the rolling chassis to a guy and then fit his Pump Gas Barton Hemi in it with his street lenco 4 speed . He wanted 3.54 rear gears but I knew the 30" tire was gonna feel terrible on the launch , the lenco had a tall first gear , like 2.25 or so , not good with that ratio rear gear and 30" tires . The first pass it smoked the stock type clutch and went 10.66 , then with the new race only
sintered iron clutch it ran 10.01 , 10.02 shifting around 5k , and I revved it out further and it slowed down to a 10.10 and lost 1 mph . I never tuned on it since it was dynoed by Barton and set the way it was accept it had my box stock dominator carb instead of Bartons GURU carb . It had 4" flowmasters and was not very loud at all . I wish I could have bought the car back before he sold the engine off , I cant believe he sold the engine right after that , he was scared to death of the thing and ran only 11's with it , He would not put his foot into it .

was looking through some pics from a few years back when i was taking pics at the track for fun . i like the angle that you can get at some of the tracks these are just a couple of my favorite places to shoot from : at winston speedway in the tower , and on the lightpole mound at turn 4 . at i-96 , at the end of turn 2 was good . i liked turn 3-4 at mount pleasant . these just happened to both be of hellafast late model racer dona marcoullier but if you look through my albums here of those tracks i mentioned you'll see a ton of other racers from here in michigan . there are lots of albums here for you racers and fans , even quite a few local drag racers you may know
