Daily thoughts of a horse girl……

I’ve been thinking a lot about my little cow pony, Shiloh, and our life together. She is the last remaining piece of my girlhood. We grew up together and by the grace of God we have both made it to our thirties. Back in the day you couldn’t tell either of us nothing! We both were as hard headed as they came, but through all of the blood,sweat, and tears we made it! I have fond memories of, her and I, riding like the wind on those small town country roads back home in Nebraska. I can still remember the scent of golden rod captured by the warm breeze and the feeling of being so alive in those moments. She now spends her days in leisure as a lawn ornament 😂, on my parents beautiful farm. If you are ever lucky enough to share space, love, and to be loved by a horse it will make an impact on you for the rest of your life.
