Yesterday, Mother Nature threw all she could at these two. It rained basically the entire time we tried to take photos and their outdoor ceremony had to be moved indoors. But then right at the end, the sun came out and the most beautiful fog rolled in over Sylvan Lake. ⭐️

These guys are such good friends through soccer. The Reisner’s don’t often miss soccer tournaments….but we weren’t going to miss this. Huge congratulations to Pete and Katie!

Hey, Insta-fam! 👋🏼 Long time no see! 🙌🏼 It's been a hot minute since I popped up in your feeds, and let me tell you, you’ve missed nada. 🤣

My life has been as exciting as watching paint dry lately, but hey, boring is the new black, right? 😂🖤
Turns out, not having much to do has had some amazing perks.
🔘Investing more time with my kids has shown 1000% ROI. 🔘The casa is clean most days. 🔘My anxiety has improved and I’m getting more comfortable just being still. 🔘 I finished an entire book series this summer. (Sure it was on Audible, but it damn well counts!)😂

➡️ But let's be real, posting started feeling as forced as trying to fit into skinny jeans after a buffet binge. 🍔👖 It just wasn't authentic anymore, and I refuse to be anything but genuine. So, I won't be returning to Instagram in the same capacity as before. Those days are officially over, my friends. 👋🏼

⭐️ But I just want to give a big shoutout to all my amazing followers! Your support has been incredible, and I'm grateful that my content could make you feel a little less alone in this crazy world. 🌍
I hope that my vulnerability over the years has helped at least one person feel seen and heard. When people would DM me that my post or story resonated with them, I always felt that this platform had purpose. But sharing my vulnerability also came with costs behind the scenes. Those costs began to crush my soul a little bit. Costs I no longer want to pay.

👉However, fear not! I'm not disappearing into the abyss. I'll still be here, in the real world, ready to meet up and catch up with anyone who wants to hang out. 🌟 Let’s face it- It’s so easy to follow people on Instagram and feel that we have a backstage pass to thier lives. Which can lead to us to think we know people better than we do. Or we are all caught up in our friends lives, when in fact watching their stories is not a real connection. It’s not real friendship.

So, here's to real-life connections and leaving behind the days of feeling like a virtual puppeteer. 🎭✨ If you're up for some genuine human interaction, hit me up! I’m always up for a hike, beer, coffee or laugh. Appreciate you all. ❤️
