I was attempting photographing breakaways for the first bit of the evening trying different angles but unfortunately I don’t think it’s going to work out due to the arena being shadowed by the bleachers causing harsh lighting contrasts for parts of the arena but also mainly not being able to be at the same level as the event meant that the photos were taken from above and didn’t have the same up close action feel I can get from being on the ground for the barrel racers so those breakaway attempts were not included in the link.

I’m very excited to be able to photograph for the Chase The Ace Tour again this year. I am still working out if I will be able to be there on the 12th and will be out of town for the 9th but otherwise I will be there for the other 4 dates! 🤍📸
I will be attempting to shoot some photos of the breakaways this year as well!

SAVE THE DATES FOR 2026!!! All of them will be on Tuesdays in 2026 except the finals will be on a Thursday so that we are not over the top of Wild West Wednesdays first event and New Underwood Playdays! WE will do Barrels, Poles, Goats and Breakaway again at everything but the finals. POINTS only on Barrels and Breakaway. PUT THIS FUN SERIES on your calendar! The greatest honor is getting to capture memories for a family over the years while they grow. From capturing a first birthday shoot to an engagement and their wedding to a new baby, it means so much to me to continue to be asked to help document these milestones for this incredibly sweet (and stylish) family. 🫶🏼🤎
