Some sessions carry a certain feeling from the very beginning, and this was one of them.

A warm February evening in Oceanside, Melanie & Grayson, and a beautiful creative experiment with vintage Helios 44-2 and Mir-1V lenses. For this gallery, I also stepped away from my usual editing style and embraced a softer, more nostalgic, film-inspired look. I love the quiet romance these images hold.

I did a little experiment with vintage lenses, fully manual focus, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. The edits basically begged for a film look.
