Been a while since I popped on to say hi! I am Deja the face behind the lens of Deja’s View Photography.
Here’s some random fun facts about me, would love to hear yours too!
1. When I was in elementary school, I would take all my allowance (in cash) and send it to save the Manatees. As an adult, I see the error of my way’s. 🤦♀️
2. I love to organize my inbox, but literally can never find what I am looking for in a search.
3. I should start my own podcast because I hate texting and leave everyone I know long a** voice memos (which I firmly believe they love getting-even if the have otherwise expressed- I’m talking to you )
4. My ideal day consists of getting a hot latte, a long walk on the beach, spending the entire day outdoors with my family, outdoor bar + kitchen for dinner where dogs are allowed and shoes are optional, and a night walk to focus on all that I’m grateful for.
5. I have two cats named Lucky and Loki. Lucky pees in our sink, and has a terrible attitude when he’s mad at us. Loki is constantly running away from whatever he thinks is coming for him, and is constantly annoying the sh** out of Lucky every chance he gets. Im very used to dogs and long for my cat’s approval and love.
6. I don’t have a middle name.
7. My mom owned a toy store when I was growing up and I got to go to all the trade shows and leave with the newest toys, which was AWESOME.
8. I am originally from Connecticut, but moved to LA at 20, and Palm Springs at 31. Crazy to think I have lived here longer because I still call CT h🤍me.
9. I have no idea how, but I started going to nightclubs at the age of 16 (.root) I actually used to wear overalls, and how that didn’t scream UNDERAGE is beyond me. Destiny’s Child “no scrubs” playing the entire way to Vandome 😂
10. Last but not least, I feel so lucky every time someone books me and allows me into their lives to capture their story. From surprise engagements, birth announcements, maternity photos, and extended family sessions- I have seen it all and every single family touches my life. Thank you to everyone who has and who will trust me with their precious memories!
