The “we just got married” glow hits different. ✨

Golden hour on the ocean, kisses that turned into full-on dips, showing off those new rings, celebrating with their favorite people… and ending the night with CAKE. 🎂😂

Melanie + Vincent’s day was romantic, beautiful, and most importantly, it felt like them. Full of laughter, affection, a little chaos, and those moments you can’t pose because they just happen. 🤍

And THAT is always what I want to capture. Not just what your wedding looked like, but what it felt like.

Melanie + Vincent said “I do” with the ocean behind them, surrounded by the people they love most, and SO much joy.

The vows, the rings, that first kiss… and those little looks at each other afterward that say, “Wait… we’re actually married.” 🥹

And somehow, even with Laguna Beach turning the temperature ALL the way up ☀️😂, these two never stopped smiling.

When I tell you Laguna Beach said SUMMER IS HERE that day… she was not playing. 😂☀️🥵

But even through the heat, this day was filled with so much love, laughter, happy tears, and the sweetest little moments.

From the getting-ready details to seeing each other for the first time… Melanie + Vincent were just HAPPY. And honestly, that’s exactly how a wedding day should feel. 🤍

And THIS is why I always say your wedding photos should feel like your wedding. 🤍

Not just the pretty details.
Not just the perfectly posed portraits.
Not just the Pinterest-worthy moments.

I’m talking about the REAL stuff.

The way you look at each other when you finally get a second together. 🥹
Dancing with Mom and Dad.
Laughing until your cheeks hurt.
Your friends acting absolutely ridiculous on the dance floor. 😂
The traditions that belong to your family.
And finally getting to celebrate with all the people who came to love on you.

Alondra + Axel’s reception was full of exactly that. 🤍

And one of my favorite things about photographing weddings is knowing that while my couples are busy actually LIVING these moments, I get to preserve all the little pieces happening around them.

Because when the music stops, the cake is gone and everyone finally goes home… these are the memories you get to keep. 🥹

When it’s approximately 847 degrees outside… we work QUICK. 😂☀️

Wedding days don’t always give us perfect weather, perfect temperatures, or unlimited time for portraits. And you know what? That’s okay.

Because my job isn’t to keep my couples standing outside melting just because I want another 100 photos. 😂 My job is to read the moment, work with what we’ve got, get those beautiful images AND make sure my bride and groom are actually enjoying their wedding day.

So Alondra + Axel got outside, loved on each other, laughed with me for a bit, gave me all this sweetness… and then I happily sent my newlyweds back inside. 😂🤍

And looking at these two?

Yeahhhh… I’d say we got what we needed. 🥹😍

Give me the real laughs, the forehead kisses, the “come here you” moments and two people who are ridiculously happy to finally be married.

THAT is what I want to photograph. 🤍

There’s something extra special about getting to photograph a wedding that came to me through one of my past brides. 🥹 My girl Naomi sent these two my way, and getting to be a small part of Alondra & Axel’s love story was such a gift.

From the way Axel looked at his bride, to the happy tears, their first kiss as husband and wife, and being surrounded by the people who love them most… these are the moments I want my couples to hold onto forever. 🤍

Because years from now, it won’t just be about remembering what everything looked like. It’ll be about remembering how it felt.
