Companies that are hiring, growing, and focusing on developing their often invest in for their team.
The need for usually arises from a new website that's being built, an influx of new hires, a full-on , or simply getting new photos done because it's been a while.
I work with companies both large and small to come up with a signature style for their images. We do that through a phone consultation where we review the marketing goals for the images, the visual identity of the company, and the overall technical needs of the creative team responsible for putting the images to good use.
We discuss and decide things like poses, props, background, colors, outfits, and any other aspect that must be taken into consideration for the photos to be a success.
I handle most of the scheduling and communication so the office administrator simply has to forward my messages to the staff - it's simple, quick, and easy.
During the shoot, I plug my camera into my computer. This allows for the staff to see their photos right after, choose their top favorite shots, and feel at ease that we captured something they like.
I also allocate plenty of time for each person to feel seen and heard, allowing them to relax and trust me, which translates to genuine and friendly expressions in their photos.
Because the final images are chosen on the spot, they get edited quickly and delivered soon after as well (depending on how many employees were photographed, of course).
If more professionals join the company after the photos were taken, they can always come to my studio where I can recreate the same office look, or, if preferred, I can come back to the workplace and photograph there again.
The investment depends on the setups, number of people being photographed, number of images purchased, and what other services we may have to include, like hair and makeup, for example.
Overall, it's an investment that builds morale, updates and upgrades the company's online image, and positions its team as the professionals they are.
