Oh Christmas Babe 🎅🏽

We've been doing so many Christmas looks for Newborn Sessions lately I have been singing " Oh Christmas babe, oh Christmas babe" to the tune of O Christmas Tree to every baby. 😂

Today is the last day for retouching submissions before our Holiday Break next week. Tracey and I have been working so hard to get everyone their retouched images, products, gifts and cards in time for the big day.

Our last day for product pick up is going to be a week from today by 3:00 PM.

Why Are Photographers So Expensive?

Something we hear a lot this time of year is "That is too expensive for me" or "That seems like a lot of money for pictures."

Over the years of experience, we now know that it all just boils down to learning more about what we do and that every photographer is different in what they offer!

If you've worked with us before you know we are not *just* photographers.

We are child wranglers, personal stylists, hair movers, posing queens, stand up comedians, positivity pumpers and more.

That being said, the investment with us isn't just inspired by our performance while shooting. It is a financial formula that's based off all business expenses. These include: Studio rent, utilities, equipment cost, hourly wages, advertising and marketing costs, etc.

Not gonna lie...

It's been so busy up in here with so many beautiful families that it's been hard to post on social media regularly and with intention!

As photographers, we're not just taking the pictures. We're maintaining a back end system of the business, spending hours as our own accountants ( not good ones lol), location scouting for sessions, setting up promotional material for future sessions, prop shopping, editing and retouching thousands of images, ordering smash cakes, strategizing for social media and marketing, working after hour networking events, and the list goes onnn....

Tracey and I are both trying to remind ourselves of the little moments throughout the week that bring us gratitude for what we do.

Photographing this little guy Masun for his First Birthday was one of those moments.

We've been photographing this beautiful family for almost 5 years now and every single time we see them, it's a party.

Masun has 3 incredible older siblings that have become our little buddies. His older sister, Abbie, even wrote about her experience with us taking family photos for a project at school....insert crying emoji here...

Happy First year around the sun, Masun, we have LOVED watching you grow 🥰
