Baja appreciation post!! As we sit back and watch all our friends in Baja right now- we’re flooded with some amazing memories, sunsets, and of course Baja magic! Here’s to being barefoot on the beach, skies on fire, good company, and “Baja tv” (aka whale watching). Nothing like waking up to a sunrise paddle and ending your day sharing homemade pizza on the beach with whales jumping for joy ✨Enjoy a few magic moments from a truly special place!

Well…not the best conditions nor the best shots but we had a small window to grab a few snippets of the comet the other day and felt like sharing with you all! Fun fact- it was discovered on Jan 29, 2023 and is estimated to be 110 million years old. It won’t orbit Earth again for another 80,000 years! Makes you wonder what other comets are out there just waiting their turn to shine 💫!

One of the coolest places we’ve been so far…literally! 🥶 Getting up close and personal with the Kink Glacier was a moment that we will never forget. Thanks to the fine folks at Knik Glacier Tours, we had an unforgettable experience on an old 6x6 military vehicle overland trek through rivers and the scenic Alaskan backcountry then we took a jet boat ride through the iceberg field at the mouth of the glacier. The boys had a blast, we made awesome memories, and we got tons of pics of this very special place! Scroll ➡️ to see these pristine baby blue icebergs up close for yourself!

Throwback to that one time on the Kenai Peninsula we found just the perfect backdrop for a picnic that lead to an amazing glacier 👀. Portage Pass is only a 4.6mi out and back trail but packs almost 1500ft elevation gain. Annnnd…if you time it right in the summer, you’ll be snacking your way to the top with ripe juicy Salmon berries that line a good majority of the trail 🙌.

Curious to see a show of hands…who’s even had a salmon berry before???

Taken outside of Fairbanks, AK- the smoky skies cast an eerie pinkish orange tint across the skies that stay lit 24/7. Near Chena hot springs, this is a stark contrast to the weather extremes found up here in winter where they host a frozen hair contest under the northern lights! Peep those feet on the back deck- who do you think those belong to? 🤔

Where’s the furtherest place you’ve ever driven?? For us…so far, it’s the Arctic Ocean. Technically I guess you could say we started the journey north in Phoenix, AZ and drove nearly 4000miles to this spot. Pic taken at the end of the Dempster Road in Tuktoyaktuk, NWT Canada, 69.4degrees N. This is a bit deceiving tho believe it or not…reaching the Arctic Ocean at the end of the Dalton highway in Purdhoe Bay, Alaska is actually even further at 70.2degrees N!! However, you can’t camp on the ocean up there like you can in Tuk and get an epic shot like this… food for thought.
