Jenny + Justin are married! 🎉

If you didn’t see the update, I have moved! I moved to Utah 2 weeks ago, and it’s been crazy busy around here! I have an awesome associate back in Raleigh taking on all of my 2021 weddings! I’m personally taking the year off (except a few things already on the books), to settle into our new home, get some renovations done, and to document my kids and our lives more. I’m so thankful I have an amazing team that I trust to ensure everything else falls into place perfectly 👌🏻

Have to share a little birthday shout out 🎉 happy birthday to the best second photographer & associate I could ask for! She makes sure I stay sane during weddings, always gets bomb detail shots, finds my phone and carries the bouquet many times during the day, makes sure I don’t forget anything, and is the behind the scenes QUEEN 👏🏼 weddings wouldn’t be the same without you but they don’t even come close to girls branding and margarita nights. Thank you for always making sure weddings go smoothly for me, but also for being my friend... and doing target runs for me 😅 I hope your birthday is full of sweatpants, margaritas, and a break from DIY projects, and that this year goes by quickly so you can be in Hawaii next year when you turn...ya know 😉

This *may* be my biggest sneak peek yet, but I just couldn’t help myself. I haven’t shot a wedding since last November, and my first one this season, which was supposed to be my second one last season. Emily & Jon still followed through with their marriage last year but held off on the celebration. They were finally able to share their special day with their close friends and family, and it was beautiful! I really wanted to tell a story throughout the day and pay attention to details and emotions, and I wanted to show that in this sneak peek as well. I could post so many more, but I can’t post the whole wedding gallery 😂

Bliss 🖤

I second shot Marisa + Alex’s wedding April of 2019 with my favorite .photography. Then she had to go off and move to Florida and leave me 🙄 but I still love her and love that she trusts me to take care of her past clients that I’ve loved on with her through weddings we’ve done together.

Marisa and Alex, you two still make me gush with the love you two have for each other. After a rollercoaster of your first two years of marriage, you two still show up and show the world grace. I applaud both do you for continuing to grow together all together, and you both will show up and parent with grace with your sweet little girl, too.

Can’t stop won’t stop posting these gorgeous humans. I’ve stepped back from all social media lately. I’ve been doing things more intently and using my time more wisely. Working two jobs (on top of having a 5 person family with 2 pets), and remodeling our home has taken up so much of my life. When I relax, I actually want to pay attention to the TV show I’m watching, or the game I’m playing with my kids. It’s been nice putting my phone down for most of the day, and then after I get off work at 4 and go start painting. 🙌🏼
