A break in my social media hiatus to A) let you know I’m still alive, and B) give a life update!
Many of you know that our oldest daughter, Everley, is high functioning on the spectrum! Our little wild child is headed into kindergarten soon, but girlfriend needs just a little more love in the self-regulation department, so she’s going to be starting an intensive therapy this year that is going to be about 40 hours a week. I started this business as a means to be able to work AND be a stay at home mom, and it has allowed me to do just that- I will be FOREVER grateful for each and every one of you that has support that over the last 6 years.
With Everley starting her new full time job, and Isla being Isla (IYKYK), we’ve decided in this season of life that it’s best for me to pull back on work a little bit so I can give the best of myself to our families needs, but also so I can serve each of YOU with more time and attention without being spread too thin.
All of that being said, for the time being, I will only be taking wedding related photography work. This means engagement sessions, proposals, bridal portraits and obviously weddings of all kinds!
I didn’t realize I was a people pleaser until I started realizing how DEEPLY difficult it has been to turn down family/other types of sessions 😭 so please know that it crushes my soul to have to say no, and it won’t be forever 😘 if you already have a session on the books or if you’re a “baby’s first year” package client, all of those sessions are still good to go! This applies strictly to new bookings.
Thank you so much for all the love and understanding during this chaotic, but beautiful time of our lives! I look forward to serving each of my wedding clients with undivided attention, and I have some fun plans for how I’ll serve families when I’m able to come back to that🤩 LOVE YOU GUYS 🫶🏻🫶🏻
