We are big fans of Brave Bears Club | Epilepsy Support, Resources + Community over here! We’ve had a bear for Edward for awhile now and now that we have another in our family we needed one for Annie too!

Thankful for resources to help our kiddos feel loved, protected and safe during really hard times!

A little glimpse into what our family wishes others understood. 🤍

Not because we expect everyone to fully understand our world - but because a little more understanding, grace, and willingness to listen can go such a long way.

“Do I call the doctor… or am I overthinking this?”

A question I ask myself almost daily.

Medical parenting changes your perspective. You notice things other people wouldn’t think twice about because sometimes the little things have been big things.

It’s a constant balance between trusting your instincts and wondering if anxiety is talking.

If you know, you know. 🤍

It’s amazing how the smallest details can make the biggest difference.

For us, this has become one of those little things that makes medical appointments just a bit easier for Annie and for me. 🤍

Thank you, , for creating something so thoughtfully designed 🙌🥹🫶🤍

This wasn’t our first public meltdown, and unfortunately, it probably won’t be our last.

The truth is, this is something many autism families experience. While these moments can feel incredibly isolating, they’re also opportunities for awareness, understanding, and kindness.

As his mama, one of my greatest responsibilities is advocating for him. I couldn’t do that in the middle of Target because my only job in that moment was helping my son through something that felt impossible to him. But I can do it here.

So if this video helps even one person choose compassion over judgment the next time they see a family struggling in public, then sharing it is worth it.

You never know what someone is carrying. Your kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything. 🤍

Lately, I’ve realized that sometimes the reminders I need most aren’t profound or groundbreaking.

They’re simple things I have to preach to my own heart again and again.

Because some days feel heavy.
Some days feel uncertain.
Some days I end the day with a to-do list that is somehow longer than when I started.

In a season that feels beautiful and hard, full and exhausting, joyful and uncertain all at once, these are the truths I’m holding onto.

I don’t know how every chapter of this story will unfold. But I’m learning that faith isn’t found in having all the answers - it’s found in trusting the One who does.

And even here, God is faithful. Maybe you need these reminders too. 🤍

Hi friends - I’ve been meaning to sit down and write this for a while, and it’s taken me some time to find the words.

This season has been… a lot.

As many of you know, our sweet Annie girl has been walking through some medical complexities - heart defects, an epilepsy gene diagnosis, and cranial concerns, among other things. Over the past few weeks, we’ve spent time in the hospital, had multiple appointments each week (last week alone we had eight), started using a feeding tube, and begun navigating what her care will look like moving forward - including open heart surgery.

She is so deeply loved, and we are so grateful for her. And at the same time, it has been a heavy season for our family - physically, emotionally, and mentally. We’re learning to take things one day at a time.

Because of that, I’ve been prayerfully considering what it looks like to create margin where I can… and I’ve made the decision to slow down with photography for the rest of this year.

I will be honoring all current contracts and if my schedule allows I will do my best to serve past families (that aren’t currently booked). It will be limited, and I won’t be taking on new clients at this time.

This wasn’t an easy decision. I truly love what I do, and serving your families has been such a gift. But right now, my heart and my time need to be here at home, caring for my own.

More than anything, we are trusting the Lord in this season - one step at a time. Thank you for always supporting my business and my family so faithfully. Your prayers, encouragement, and kindness have meant more than I can say. Truly.

With love,
Sarah & Cameron
