K + B’s story started on the water, so naturally, we took B’s boat out on the intracoastal for their engagement session, and it was every bit of perfect. I knew I was going to have the BEST time with these two when I walked into the beach house and saw Deadliest Catch re-runs playing the TV (B is an avid fisher)! We started on the waterway, drifting across the slow waves, and ended the evening on the shore in the most perfect, cool September air. We can’t wait to get these two married next year! 🐚

When we first moved to our little town a little over a year ago, my biggest prayer as a new mom was that Jesus would bring other like-minded mom friends into my life. He’s answered that prayer through so many incredible women, but Jenna has been one that always leaves me feeling so incredible blown away by that answered prayer-truly the greatest gift from the Lord. From a short Facebook message after briefly crossing paths at library story time, to now having them as some our dearest friends! In just a year, we’ve watched our little friend tribe double (or soon to double in the coming weeks AHH)! What a joy to experience life and motherhood alongside this lovely lady!
We got to explore their old family dairy farm. Blaine (Jenna’s husband) used to play and adventure there as a little boy, so it was full circle to see sweet Maverick doing the same, with his trusty toy tractor and miniature cows in tow.
Gosh, we are thankful for the Newtons! Can’t wait to add baby girl to the crew SO soon! We love these three!

Last night with the Womble fam. From photographing their 2020 wedding ceremony, to their 2021 reception (we all remember the year of split ‘rona weddings), to newborn photos with sweet S (when I was still hiding my pregnancy with Norah, trying to hold in the news while capturing all the tiny newborn features 🥹), all the way to maternity photos with another little lady on the way. We caught the most perfect golden sunset on the peninsula of the campgrounds at Hyco Lake. Simply the best-new babies and big sisters.

Bri + her sweet family drove all the way to our middle-of-nowhere neighborhood to spend an evening letting me capture the sweetness that is her little crew. (And YES-this is our neighborhood, and I take this backroad the “long way”, as Norah so fondly calls it, home every day just to admire it). Seeing the way our lives have played out so similarly since high school has been so sweet-both raising curly haired, adventurous toddler girls and new baby boys, just a month apart, while living in the country (just a few hours away from each other)!
Beginning the transition into families has been such a gracious, kind gift from the Lord. It feels most natural in this season, as i know these years are gone all too fast. And getting to capture the fleetingness of little hands for those in similar walks of life just feels so fitting. I can’t wait to share so much goodness in the coming months as we begin to document more families.

The day I gave birth just so happened to be another important date for these two. 5-25-25 is a special, special day! Although we couldn’t be there in person, I am SO thankful to our associate team who covered this day with such intention, beauty, and vision. Congrats. S + A! So happy to have been a part of your day, even from far away!

Our sweet Everett McKlain Jensen-welcome to the world. Delivered into this world on Sunday morning, May 25th, at 11:24am, in the most redemptive, beautiful birth. All praise be to Jesus, for this little life that we get to love and disciple for all of our days. Norah is in LOVE as well-taking on her role as big sister with such joy and pride. I never knew my heart could double in size, and yet-I sit in awe that the Lord looked upon me so graciously to give me these two babies, the absolute joys of my life. We feel so complete. Jensen party of FOUR! Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us.
And a huge thank you to our incredible hospital staff, from my midwife (Sarah) who delivered him with such ease and confidence. To our nurses, including the one who helped deliver Everett, telling us us our birth was by far one of her favorites to have experienced. And to our ANGEL of a doula and dear friend, (from working at summer camp together, to photographing her wedding) who gave Landon and I such indescribable encouragement and support during labor. And to our families and friends who have supported us and been our great and mighty village. We are so thankful the Lord has given us each of you in this season. Now back to the regularly scheduled snuggles. 🤍 We love you all, Jensen Collective family! Thank you for being a part of our story!
