After 12 years of capturing some of the most beautiful, emotional, joy-filled moments as a wedding photographer, Iāve made the deeply personal decision to scale back and take on a very limited number of weddings moving forward. This hasnāt been an easy decisionābut itās one that feels right for this season of life.
Wedding photography has brought me so much more than just a career. Itās been an honor to witness love in its purest form, to tell your stories through my lens, and to be trusted with moments that can never be recreated. Iāve laughed with you, cried behind my camera, and poured my heart into every image I delivered. Iāll forever be grateful for the couples, families, and friendors who have supported me along the way. Youāve helped shape me not only as a photographer, but as a person.
That said, as my son grows and my priorities shift, Iāve felt the Lord calling me to create a life with more balanceāone where I can continue doing what I love, but also be more present for the people I love most. So while Iām not saying goodbye to weddings, my ultimate goal is to begin to shift my focus toward something thatās grown close to my heartāfamily photography. Thereās something incredibly special about capturing everyday loveāthe kind that happens in the quiet, messy, real moments of family life. I want to create space to tell those stories too.
If youāre one of the couples Iāll still be lucky enough to work with, please know this: my heart is fully in it, and Iām bringing every bit of passion and care to your day. Iām just learning how to protect my energy so I can continue creating with intention.
To every couple who trusted me with their dayāthank you. To my fellow creativesāyou inspire me endlessly. And to everyone walking through seasons of change, I see you. Itās okay to evolve.
Hereās to new beginnings, better balance, and still capturing the love that started it all.
With love and gratitude,āØAnnie
