It's "go play outside” meets luxury portrait experience, and I truly can’t get enough of it.

Every session is its own adventure. I show up with a plan and then let the good times roll -- bug catching, duck wrangling, kitten snuggling, popsicle eating, wonderfully unscripted fun.

But the best part? Spending time with all the kids I've had the pleasure of watching grow up, just letting them be little and making some silly magic together. Scroll to the end to see these sweet boys on the day I met them. 🥹

This series has brought me right back to the beginning of my photography journey, when my own babies were my inspiration and I first fell in love with documenting the fleeting, adorable details of childhood.

I will continue offering these sessions through September and then again in late spring. Booking is open through August 2027. 🧡🪿

I’ve been quiet here this past week while dealing with some thyroid health issues, but I’m slowly finding my way back.

These felt like the right images to share first.

This session was another reminder that family portraits are never just about having everyone dressed nicely and smiling at the camera.

Sometimes it's about gathering the people you love while you still can. Holding hands. Wrapping arms around each other. Creating something tangible for the future.

This sweet family reached out during an incredibly difficult transition, and I was so grateful we were able to make room for these portraits quickly.

Extended family sessions can feel like a lot to coordinate, but they become some of the most meaningful images a family will ever have.

Because life changes. Children grow. Seasons shift. And sometimes, the photos we almost put off become the ones we are most thankful we made time for. 🩵

For the moms raising little boys into loving men.

One day, you’ll fly him high up in the air, not realizing it’s the last time you do it.
One day, you’ll reach for his hand and realize it’s already bigger than your own.
One day, the muddy feet, mystery messes and “watch me” moments will belong to a chapter you’d give anything to revisit.

But for now, he’s still small enough to climb into your lap.
Still eager to show you every “special” rock and tiny treasure.
Still convinced that you’re the safest place in the whole world.

This season is wild and wonderful. It deserves to be remembered beautifully.

We snuck this one in just as a storm was about to roll through last month, so we let the chaos ensue — and I love it.

Three kids, three ducks, two ice cream cones, one tire swing, and a lot of bubbles.

I’m pretty sure I had almost as much fun as they did.

This is what happens when Santa becomes part of the family calendar.

Six years. Same boys. Same Santa.

A whole lot more height, personality, opinions, and probably snack requirements.

I have photographed these twins with Santa year after year, and looking through these images together is exactly why I believe so much in traditions like this.

At first, it may just seem like a sweet Christmas photo. Then suddenly, you have a visual timeline of childhood unfolding right in front of you.

Tiny hands become big kid hands.
Shy smiles become confident grins.
Those tiny, wiggly, nervous little boys now march over to Santa, talking his ear off, and proving that time is rude and should honestly slow down.

This is what I love most about these sessions.
Not just the pretty set. Not just the Christmas card. Not just the once-a-year photo.

The returning.
The remembering.
The way one small tradition becomes part of your family’s story.

For so many of my clients, Santa portraits have become one of those markers of time.

And yes, eventually the kids get bigger, the list requests get more expensive, and Santa might need a minute to emotionally recover from how quickly everyone is growing.

But the tradition stays.
