Standing at the Year’s End - A Pause Before Moving Forward.

As this year comes to its quiet close, I find myself standing still, carrying more feelings than words. So much has passed …moments, seasons, and people I loved deeply. Some are no longer here, yet they live on in my heart as part of who I have become. The days feel colder now, both in weather and in spirit. Winter has a way of reminding us of emptiness, of pauses, of silence. And yet, each sunrise still feels precious. I don’t know how many more I will witness, but I know I want to witness them with gratitude. I am still alive. I feel the weight and the wisdom of time. Life feels less endless, more meaningful. This next chapter of life matters. It feels like a gentle but firm reminder: it is now, or never, to choose what truly matters, to make changes that shape the life I always wanted to live. As I look toward the coming year, I do so with quiet hope … hope for healing, for courage, and for a life lived more honestly and intentionally. I move forward humbly, thankful for what it was, and open to what it may still be.
