If you’re wondering why I look like I’m hiding in the bushes… here’s the story.

We’re in peak fall in NC, and this pool was covered in pine straw. I spent a good 30 minutes playing pool boy trying to clean it up, but the wind wasn’t giving me a break.

I still wanted the agent to look great and the pool to look clean without distractions, so I got creative. 

Found a low angle. Sun was blasting the lens even with a polarizer. Spotted the bushes, used them to shape the light, kill the glare, and give me a subtle foreground.

And the shot came out exactly how I wanted it to — clean, cinematic, and intentional. 🔥

Instead of giving up on the shot, we made it work. Simple problem solving, but it made a big difference.

And that’s kind of the whole point. Whether you’re a realtor, a media creator, or any kind of professional, you know the moments where it’d be easier to move on. But the extra steps are usually the ones your clients feel — especially in real estate marketing.

Perfection is the enemy of productivity. Our team is focused on intention, quality, and showing up well for the folks we serve here in NC.

That mindset has carried us for years, and I know a lot of you can relate.
