This photo was taken in Durham, in the alley off N. Mangum St, beside the Thaiangle restaurant. I was on the RPG Architecture shoot on April 12.
For this shot, I believe I used a Lightroom filter to enhance the wall colors, since the sun was only hitting one of the walls from a high angle, and both wall colors were somewhat washed out and muddy. Still, the orange wall color contrasted nicely with the blue sky, and I liked the angles, shadows, and black lines. I also liked the reflection in the window. I may come back to this alley in the summer when the sun will be stronger to take advantage of late afternoon light and shadows.
