Unfortunately as of April 1, 2021 Falank Photography will no longer be doing free shoots.

Logistics have gotten in the way of this venture being where I want it to be at this point. Essentially, I’m doing shoots & editing with no laptop or iPad. The principal behind offering free shoots was for promotion & to build a portfolio. Six months into doing so it just isn’t advantageous for me to invest 12+ hours into planning, shooting, editing, etc.,on top of capital Invested for props, traveling & what not.

Moving forward, I will continue to reach out to people to do free shoots. However reaching out to me asking for a free shoot will be something I’m discontinuing moving forward. If we’ve spoken about doing a shoot but never had the opportunity to make it a reality, I will be honoring that.

None of this serves to be passive, more-so a transparent professional decision on my end. It’s been nothing short of a pleasure to shoot with everyone of my subjects that’s allowed me to grow as a photographer & learn so much about the craft and brush up on my skills.

I’m forever grateful for anyone that’s taken time out of their busy schedule to take a chance with me. I’m so excited to make my vision with this venture a reality.

The tub scene almost didn’t happen because my dumb ass didn’t plug the tub all the way snd we’d already poured the almond milk and had to improvise and use a protein shake.

NONETHELESS we prevailed. The last 3 photos are a collective reaction to finally finishing up this three hour shoot.

Meet aka miss Becky.

Myself snd Lindsey became, as her country self would proclaim, became closer than crawfish in a bucket over the course of this last year. This shoot had been DELAYED to hell and when we could finally meet up it just so happened to be around Valentine’s Day. Her makeup, her hair, the ideas all her. I’m obsessed with how well these turned out.

On a personal note;
Albeit 3am, the last six weeks I’ve been so busy tending to my own affairs and simply roadblocks with getting everything going with logos, branding, website logistics, legal aspects, etc. I didn’t really take the time to focus on the product I’m delivering.
I revisited, studied, taught myself via YouTube photography principals I hadn’t brushed up on since I was 19.
I was so determined to put all these tools to use with this shoot and my overdramatic ass just sat here crying In disbelief that I shot these incredible photos with the stunning
I’ll be posting the rest later today. I haven’t forgotten about this venture, the support when I first launched was overwhelming and I’m working on so much to deliver to you all the quality products I’m proud to present to you.
