Wow! A Decade of photography. I remember standing in line at Walmart on Black Friday waiting to get a $400 camera so I could try my hand at this career.

As the girl who took the photos in high school, I always thought photographers worked for magazines like Vogue and Nat Geo, I never realized that they lived in our communities and captured moments everyday.

I will be eternally grateful to - for capturing my own wedding and helping me start this business.

I also will never be able to say thank you enough to the clients who flew me out, who made me apart of their lives, who have become lifelong friends, and who have made the last ten years so meaningful.

Looking back it’s wild to think that I’ve been capturing your memories for this long. And I can’t wait to capture more this year, in my 10th year of business.

What a whirlwind of a year!

Technically I still have one more wedding to capture but I wanted to get this out before the end of the year!

I want to say a major thank you to all my amazing couples - to those that trusted me to capture their special days…. That welcomed me into their lives — and who made my job effortless.

I took a little step back from photography this year, take the least amount of weddings in my career (18) to focus on my side passion writing and I’m so glad I did because I’m going to be a published author next year! Check out if you want to know when my wedding inspired romance is coming out!

But I’m not stepping away from photography anytime soon and can’t wait to capture all my amazing 2026 couples!!!
