sometimes photography can be quite superficial in a day of influencers, filtered selfies, and staged perfection… one thing I’m committed to as your wedding photographer is capturing the day authentically. I’ll help guide you to the best light or location when needed, some prompting during portraits and then leave the rest to be documented as it plays it out.
I read an article a few months ago about a mother who spent a whole year capturing photos of her children and rather than one photo to remember, she would get stuck snapping pictures the whole time and when she looked back at those photos a year later she couldn’t remember the day - she had forgotten to be present and experience the emotions of it all.
my goal as your photographer is to allow you to be present so that when I capture those sweet moments that unravel through the day, you’ll look back and remember not just the people but the feelings of love and joy.
