It’s been a busy season of growth here in Etowah County! Between managing my new business Coosa Limousine and the daily rhythm of the homestead, I’ve been staying incredibly busy. However, a few recent shifts have reminded me why I love capturing life’s milestones so much.. I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself to my wonderful photography community and my past clients because I’ve came a long way since Rainbow City in 2011. While you may have seen me lately with flour on my hands from my sourdough bakes or tending to my Waddle & Fluff Hearth & Harvest Farmette flock, my passion for capturing life through the lens of my Nikon D7000 remains a constant. I'm still the same photographer you know—just with a few more feathers and a lot more garden dirt on my Cheetah Print Crocs. Since we last connected, my world has expanded quite a bit. I’ve been dedicated to "no-shortcut" sourdough and small-batch foraging, creating everything from floral jellies to herbal tinctures for our future farm stand. A Growing Farm and Flock. Our homestead is buzzing with chickens and ducks, and I’m constantly learning more about poultry health and management and I’ve just added goats to the chaos 🤭 Family and Health First, I’m 36 but my pharmacy and physical capabilities speak 67; truth is I’m not the most dependable so keeping my work at home is what works best for me. Adam and I will soon celebrate our 15th anniversary, and with five children ranging from going on first grade to 9th, there’s never a dull moment. However I want to make space for those of you looking for an authentic, grounded session. If you are looking for a session that feels authentic, grounded, and uniquely beautiful, our homestead offers the perfect backdrop. Whether it’s family portraits among the raised garden beds or lifestyle shots at the top of our hill, I’d love to help you tell your story. I’ve always been the ‘UNPOSED’ photographer, it’s the best way to be.
What to expect:
• Authentic Atmosphere: No stiff studios—just real life, fresh air, and maybe a guest appearance from a goat or two.
• Homestead Charm: We can utilize the natural beauty of Zone 8a, from the growing cornfields ‘another month or so’ to the floral rose bushes I’ve been working so hard on.
• A Personal Touch: I bring the same "no-shortcut" dedication to my photography that I bring to my baking and business.
I am quite busy balancing the hearth and the harvest, so session times are limited. Reach out soon to grab a date! I can't wait to see old faces and meet new ones.
What kind of session are you dreaming of for this season?
