I truly love this passion God gave me many years ago... catching precious "moments in time" of my family and friends has brought me great joy! Once you've been in front of my camera, clients become family and friends! I first started toying with the idea of doing this monetarily when I was trying to raise money for my first mission trip to Honduras, hence the name "Mission Minded Photography". Thi
s part time passion has sent myself and my family to our village in Los Arrayanes 14+ times since then! Thank you all for supporting this mission and most of all, Praise the Lord! Professional photography can get quite expensive and it's well worth it! Because of that, I am determined to offer pricing that is affordable to everyone all while providing great quality photographs! Thanks for checking into Mission Minded Photography! I hope to hear from you soon! Now, to those that are interested... a few words about our missions in Honduras...
My church, First Baptist of Lake Butler, FL, has been doing missions to Honduras for over a decade now. I went on my first mission trip in June 2011. In the years before, we (as a church) went 4-5 times a year to build churches, do Vacation Bible Schools during the summer & veterinary trips. Each time we sent a team, they went to a different place in Honduras. In early 2011, God gave us a little more centered and specific vision, to adopt a village... :) So, my first trip in June 2011 was our first trip to the village of Los Arrayanas -the village we have adopted. I have been blessed to be able to see these same sweet faces and share Jesus with them twice a year since that very first trip! It is so wonderful to go back to the same place, where we are all family and know each other by name! Since that first trip in 2011, my husband has been able to make the journey each year with me as well and now as our kids are getting older they are going as well! I will be posting pics of not only my photo sessions, but also some pics from our missions as well!!! Hope you enjoy!! And even if you don't schedule a session, I hope you will pray for the village and people of Los Arrayanas, Honduras.
