What happens after the first joyride? 🚗

For Wayne Mazda’s second “Joyride” spot, we brought the story forward with a little romantic meet-cute, a lot of movement, and the same sense of freedom and fun that made the original campaign work.

Behind the scenes, this meant filming on location and inside a fully operational dealership; building a polished commercial story without slowing the dealership down.

Some of our favorite projects have started with a conversation, an introduction, or someone saying, “You should really talk to Ed.”

So, we’re looking for the right person to help start a few more of those conversations.

Sound Imagination | Imagination Video is looking for a Business Development Producer — someone who understands video/audio production, enjoys building relationships, and can help introduce new clients to the work we do.

This is a flexible, part-time, hybrid opportunity with a small monthly stipend plus commission. The role is focused on developing new client relationships for commercials, corporate videos, music videos, jingles, voiceovers, animation, motion graphics, studio production, and full-service creative projects.

The right person might come from video production, media sales, advertising, marketing, agency work, creative services, corporate communications, business development, or something adjacent. We’re looking for someone who can speak comfortably with business owners, agencies, marketing directors, communications teams, and other decision-makers; and who understands that good business development is about relationships, timing, and fit.

It's always a joy shooting at YMCA Camp Mason! Ed Kessel is a Camp Mason Alumni, and shooting here is like shooting in a quiet little corner of Paradise.

We’re excited to share that our music video / narrative short "Not Today Billy" has received four awards from the Los Angeles Film & Documentary Awards:

Written, directed, and produced by Ed Kessel, and based on a song written and performed by Joe Bartell, the film brings together music and cinematic storytelling to tell a powerful story about sacrifice, resilience, and compassion.
