Some absolutely BEAUTIFUL moments from Taylor & Sanjeev’s wedding a few weeks back :)

The time I spent with them and their family was incredible, and I am just so thankful to have been included in such a wonderful occasion (the flights worked out perfectly too!!). Throughout their ceremony, their couples shoot, and the reception that followed, Taylor and Sanjeev emanated a warmth that I found transfixing, and going back through the photos during post was a uniquely nostalgic experience for me—never have I had so many moments from the same shoot to look back on with sincere and intense awe (there may even have been tears🤷🏻‍♂️). They are truly a match made in heaven, and I’m wishing them all of the happiness and warmth I possibly can. What a (beautiful) couple, what a day, and what a privilege. Congratulations for 80 billionth time :)

As Pride month draws to a close, I want to take a moment to remind everyone that absolutely nobody deserves to be deprived of the joy that comes with being oneself. Be proud of who you are, love your own skin, and give love to others who need it. And BIIIG shouts to the LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 gang that threw the most fun parade I think I’ve ever seen, which took place in downtown Detroit a few weeks back. I’ll never forget the feeling of happiness and positivity that emanated from the crowds there—it’s the type of emotion you can only have when being fully and unapologetically yourself. Sending all the love to every Pride-repping person out there. @ Detroit, Michigan

THIS WEEK IN MY WORLD: I flew home to shoot a wedding (it was amazing, and congratulations to the beautiful couple again!!) and didn’t post about last week because I was so busy, but the good news is that this week’s post is already here!!

Yesterday, I went with some friends to Belle Isle. It certainly lived up to its name, as it really is a beautiful island. On the longest day of the year, we watched the sun move behind the clouds and under the horizon over the Detroit skyline—it was great!! As you can see, love was in the air. This dog and his stick, and these three couples, were all out to enjoy the beginnings of what so far has been a beautiful weekend in Michigan.
