This was a wonderful celebration of Mass at the Lakefront in Racine; the last Sunday Mass for the Catholic Community of Eight ( because they are now St. Leo the Great parish). It touched my heart deeply to see all the five priests on the altar along side the Archbishop of Milwaukee, Archbishop Grob.

The Feast of Corpus Christi, also known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, celebrates the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

St. John Nepomuk Church, part of the Catholic Community of Eight in Racine, celebrated its 130th anniversary on May 16th. This church was build to serve the Catholic Czech community in Racine, Wisconsin. Many Czech families called this their home parish. It is now one of eight sights of, the soon to be, St. Leo the Great parish; and numerous more people worship here.
130th Mass was celebrated by Bishop Schuerman with pastor Fr. Juan Camacho. A relic of St. John Nepomuk was present on the altar. It was a blessing to capture this special Mass.

Taking time to slow down and enjoy your family is essential, as the fleeting nature of childhood and life passes quickly.

What a treat to travel to Florida for a visit, and do a family session with my family! 🥰
