Three weeks ago, Bonnie and I went out on a Date night to see Alexander High School's production of "Les Miserables." What a production it was! It has taken me 3 weeks to go through the pictures. As I look at all of them, I am reminded of how much effort there had to be to bring this show to the stage! I don't know how many students were involved, but there were a lot.
Unfortunately, the day after we attended, the remaining 2 shows were cancelled. I was upset because I had already decided to go and get some full stage shots, as the sets were beautiful and huge. While this was a bummer for me, I can only imagine how devastating this must have been for the students, staff and parents. So much work, effort and love was poured into the show. I assume that many of these students are getting ready to graduate, and this cancellation would be the first of many shocks for them.
I am truly sorry for all involved. So, while I can't do much for graduates missing out on the end of their year, I realized I can do this. I can at least help some remember a truly remarkable moment they were involved in. I have uploaded all full quality pictures to my website and turned on downloading. The password is "lesmis".
Please take a few minutes, or longer, there are quite a few shots to browse. I am fairly certain there are pictures enough from every scene that you can watch if you are familiar with the story! I only regret that my pictures did not capture the music for you, it was amazing. Please also share with anyone involved! I always try to get pictures of as many cast members as possible, and I would love to know that those involved enjoy the moments I was able to capture.
Keep an eye on Alexander High School's theater department. I hope they can perform this show after things settle. Even if they cannot, they will have nothing but great things to come!
Take care and God bless!
