Some of my favorite images from the best weekend of the summer so far.

Highlights from HSMF include

1. Getting quality time with some of my favorite people
2. Watching my kiddo frolicking for hours on end . She thinks that Independence Day weekend is High Sierra as she has been every year of her life.
3. Trying to catch every band on the list that I’ve never heard of before , my favorite being Bamba Wassulu Groove.
4. Any iteration of the Barr Brothers
5. The river, kickball, hangs at friends camps, Handmade Moments, the whole thing.
6. All the summer days that follow.

To Capp off my 2025 ski season I came up with a unique multi sport mission in collaboration, with here is Lake Tahoe.

It took a couple tries to lineup the various elements involved but the end result was a pretty epic paddle-to-ski mission with a handful of buddies to help promote the new app.

Thx to the crew in Tahoe and the crew at NRS.

Finishing up my edit in one of the more unique projects I’ve done in my career.

A couple weeks back I hopped in the jump seat of Clays Searey Elite and did a week long aerial photography project in Southern Utah. The pics are unreal.

Stay tuned for more images from our journey once they are turned into the client.

It’s way more fun to be the drone

Episode 9 is live. This is our 2025 Summer Festival preview featuring :
and the Gambler’s Run Music Festival in Lake Tahoe.

I had the pleasure of catching up with , one of the original producers of the High Sierra music festival. We spoke about the history, the trials and tribulations of running your own music festival and a breakdown of who’s playing this summer in Quincy. This was a real and raw conversation about the music scene today.

Next, I caught up with the crew at the about this summer’s Gamblers Run Music festival which is now in its third year running. They have a great lineup and more.

If you had any questions about either of these two festivals, this is your chance to get the lowdown. Link in bio.

I’ve been making it a point of seeing bands I dig in unique places lately .

Whether it’s a special venue or a town I have never visited before, it really adds to the experience.

This past week I made my way to Louisville, Kentucky, the hometown of where they played 5-nights with no repeats at the .

I rolled with a Kentucky native and I was blown away by the music and kindness of the Louisville locals.

Big shout to the band and their management for letting me photograph. What a treat.

Check out the review at the show in my bio.

Last spring, I embark on a two week journey down the Vjosa River with some of my favorite fellow adventures. The journey was inspired by a work previously done by .flyfishing and other environmentalist to help combat illegal damn projects on the spectacular river.

Here are a few images used by in their most recent catalog. The full story is available on their blog, Duct Tape Diaries.

My happy place … wandering foreign streets, in foreign landscapes, not understanding the language, eating foreign food and watching the world float by. We learn more from those who are different than us than from those who are the same . Interact with a stranger, find a common language, share and experience .

While I don’t consider myself the most political person in the world, getting to spend time on Martin Luther King day with former vice president ,handing out meals to residents affected by the Eaton Fire was one of the most unique experiences I’ve had.

I woke yesterday morning and saw her on television in DC at Trump’s inauguration. She immediately flew to California with an all woman flight crew, landing in LA and made her first stop at one of our distribution sites with a motorcade and secret service .

Next thing I knew I was on a neighborhood corner, in front of a food truck, photographing her on the day our next president was sworn in.

Just another piece of history …

Sometime in the night on January 7, I received a text from the World Central Kitchen asking if I could help out with media covering their efforts during the Los Angeles fires.

At the drop of the hat, I packed a bag hopped in my truck and drove to LA. For the last eight days or so days or so I’ve been gathering story ideas in their command , jutting around the city to their various meal serving stations and meeting many of the people involved in this unbelievable food relief effort and many that have lost everything .

So far , We have served over 100,000 meals to Angeleno’s , heard and told countless stories of heartbreak and heroism.

I am humbled to be a part of the team to both get the word out about what’s happening here and photograph and help produce with some of the best in the world .

Pictured here are a couple of my images on the Worls Central Kitchen. homepage .
