I bought a camera to capture moments. I didn’t realize it would become the thing that pushed me to chase new places, take the long roads, and see the world differently.

One of those moments where you stop taking photos for a second just to take it all in. The storm was moving out, the sun broke through, and suddenly the sky exploded with color.

I am at a loss for words. Kyle Busch was one of those drivers as a competitor you never wanted to see him up front cause the guy could do things most drivers couldn’t. The last few years especially after getting out of the competition side of things I found myself pulling for Kyle more and more to run well! Seeing him win the truck race last week was badass. I felt like that was the sign he was going to start running better every week. Then today hearing he was in the hospital I never imagined it was this serious. I still don’t believe it. Or does not feel real. I’m truly heartbroken for his wife and kids.

Pretty surreal getting to photograph ‘s last season and now seeing him become a NASCAR Hall of Famer. Definitely one of the coolest honors I’ve had as a photographer.

Throwback to the first time I ever shot the Milkyway. It was my first trip and the first stop in the Outer Banks, I didn’t even think this was a possibility that night I was just excited to finally see that lighthouse in person. I took a few shots and noticed the Milkyway, along with getting attacked by the OBX official bird 🦟 I then thought it was a great idea to drive down to Hatteras, I don’t know why I thought it was only like a 20 minute drive down there but the Milkyway Definitely made it worth it!

It was 2017, I had just bought my first real camera a few months earlier, I was traveling to New Hampshire for the NASCAR race but I always tried to fill my “days off” with adventures so I drove up to Cape Neddick Lighthouse. It was fairly cloudy so I never imagined I’d get a good sunset. So glad I was wrong. Fast forward to now and I can’t believe I now live in the New England, less than 2 hours from this spot. I think this was the very first lighthouse I had ever shot which if you know me that became an obsession soon after this, now I have so many new lighthouses and other places we can’t wait to get out and explore fro our new Quincy home!

Dear North Carolina I still remember the night I drove over your border for th first time. I was 21. I thought my time here would be short. Go to school and move home. But you showed me there was more to life. You became my world. You showed me a life I had never imagined least not in a reality I thought was for me. You brought friends into my life that I will have forever. You showed me love when i went through my worst times. You led me to my best fiend and the women I will spend the rest of my life with. You shaped me into the person I am today in a way not many other states could have done. I may be moving on to new adventures but just know that you will forever be one of my favorite places on earth. From your mountains to your waterfalls to the Outer Banks. You filled my life with adventures I’ll never forget and I can never thank you enough.

Massachusetts, I’m excited to see what New England has to offer. So far the food and the weather has been amazing.
