With the moon rising later in the evening, I had an opportunity to capture the comet and Milky Way together. I tried a new location, but the orientation just didn’t work out, so I headed to my trusted location at Butler Pond. This is literally on the edge of the “Blue Line,” which is the border of the Adirondack Park. The north end of the pond is in the park, but the majority of the pond is outside. It was such a nice evening, I hope you enjoy the shot as much as I did making it. This was shot on 10/22.
