Smalls grew up in the neighborhood and had to flee her family home when Hurricane Sandy hit.

Prospekt is a group of international authors with multiple visions, whose aim is to narrate meaningful stories that describe our world’s emotive, social and environmental complexity.
Our horizontal structure has the photographers actively participating in the agency’s decision making and future. Its approach promotes close interactions and collaborations, sharing ideas and objectives with the final aim of creating important individual and collective projects.
The new site was created to highlight the heterogeneity of our interests and languages and a space for thoughts, emotions, questions and knowledge.
