Scorpion Images exist because of the pure passion we have for photography, we serve everyone and our purpose is to satisfy peoples satisfactory with their photos. Scorpion Images is a small freelance photography firm based in New York City with the mission to do positive work and we're looking to meet folks in the tri-state area. We specialize in: Weddings • Birthdays • Night Out On The Town • Holidays • Special Events • Gothic Fashion • Concerts • Portraiture • Family Reunions • CosPlay • Maternity • Plus Size • Sports • Digital Media Arts (Graphic Design) • Photo Music Videos! Before any shoot, a model release form is required to be signed so you would know what is going on beforehand! I reserve the right to adjust any pricing as I see fit for the shoot we have at hand. Our Basic Packages and Rates are as follows:
• Head shots Package (20 images), Fashion (20 images), and CosPlay (per costume) starting at: $50.
• Concert Venues (50) starting at $100.
• Sports/Events 1 - 2 hours starting at $125 or 2 - 4 hours starting at $250. Engagement Package:
• Starting at $450
• Up to 4 outfits
• All images will be on CD from the photo shoot

Wedding Package:
• Starting at $1,200
• All final images will be given on CD from event

Band, Musician/Artist Promo shots, Events, and Press Kits:
• Starting at $450

• One 8x10 portrait (or two 5x7 portraits) Plus six 4x6 photographs for $125. Package B:
• Two 8x10 portraits and two 5x7 (or five 5x7 portraits without the 8x10) for $250

Package C:
• One 11x14
• Two 8x10
• Two 5x7
• (Or one 11x14 portrait and six 5x7 portraits) plus six 4x6 photographs for $450

These packages do not include: hair and make-up artists. Images will be given on DVD's and/or Sendspace zip file, unless otherwise requested. Printing fee, if requested TBD. Contract required with 50% deposit prior to the shoot and a $50 deposit is required to book your date! E-mail request/proposal to [email protected]. First time customers can receive their first photo shoot discount of 15% - 20% off (for first time customers only!) and feel free to e-mail Jennifer for any questions! We request the remainder of the balance on the day of the shoot - cash or money order and PayPal is not available at present, I apologize for any inconvenience at press time. Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! Namasté. 🧘🏽‍♀️ Time to temporarily put my trusty sidekick, Minolta X-370 in time out until I find the time to have my baby repaired. I go to load a fresh roll of film into my camera when I got to my customer service job (🙄) and come to find out that my camera isn't working! 😭 I'd have to find a day to head to this camera repair shop in Manhattan since I'd had my camera repaired at this shop for shutter issues and now it's the mirror part in the camera that needs repair. Photography and writing are my sanity and ultimate stress relief in life. My Minolta X-370 is my baby and emotional support baby. Hope I'm able salvage the camera! 🤞🏽

Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! Namasté. 🧘🏽‍♀️ Back in the city again! As I was passing by NYU Langone Hospital in Manhattan and I'm always looking for something to photograph. I see these lights and figured I'd stop and take several pictures of these lights. If you're a photographer, you never stop seeing. My mind is always in photographer mode and that's where my heart is at since I'm close to quitting my retail job to pursue photography and start my own photography business. I may not be knowledgeable about business but I'm sure I can somehow manage, figure it out, and navigate my way through. Stay frosty!

Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! Namasté. 🧘🏽‍♀️ It's an illusion that photos are made with the camera; they are made with the eye, heart, and head. I may go all out today since today's World Photography Day (👍🏽 😁 👍🏽), my kind of day. Not sure when I'll make my way to BUSHWICK DARKROOM and I miss being at the LaGCC Commercial Photography with fellow photographers since we're in the artistic struggle.

I get asked this a lot when I mention 35mm or 120mm film, yes, they still exist and yes, there are a small handful of places that still develop and/or scan film. I go to B&H Photo since it's my main go-to spot. When B&H and Adorama are closed for Jewish holiday, I go to KM Camera to buy ILFORD PHOTO or Kodak. My Minolta X-370 is my non-human child with special privileges which requires zero child support, zero deadbeat baby daddy with invalid excuses, just film and going on adventures. 😁 😉 That's all my camera requires, just unconditional love, film, and going on adventures! Happy World Photography Day to all my photography people out there, we are in the artistic struggle together and forget the rest. Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! Namasté. 🧘🏽‍♀️ About last night, I deleted my post here and on my fan page on Facebook [Scorpion Images]. I was in Midtown Manhattan taking care of business and I nearly missed the Post Office since my mind was thinking about stuff that's been going on in my personal life. As some of you know, I enjoy good music and may be working on a photography project. It'll be two projects, one of them Street photography and the other will be music themed photography. I'm hoping to self-publish two books, maybe three and it'll most likely be a three part project. Two will be Street photography and the third will be music where I go to various different music venues in the city. Good times. Hope everyone stays hydrated and safe today and always! Yesterday was fairly decent, found $80 bucks and the most I'd found in a single day. 🤫 Merry meet, Merry part.

Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! Namasté. 🧘🏽‍♀️ Made my way to Midtown Manhattan to take care of stuff and things didn't go as planned today. Since I hadn't made it to the Post Office around my way before they closed for the day. With everything going on and I ended up forgetting to switch my wallet from one bag to my Jansport bag, I ended up getting off the QM5, walked home to get my wallet since I didn't have money on my OMNY card (yo MTA, bring back the freaking MetroCards and the monthly pass 🖕🏽 🖕🏽 🖕🏽). I was about to go to this Korean supermarket down the block once I made sure I had everything I needed, just before I went to this Korean supermarket, I looked and saw some money, I went over and picked it up. It was $80 bucks. My mind is not where it should be. I'm not going to say whether or not I did 420 or not as of late since I couldn't find my spare lighter in my bag. Brought two last night after work across the street from work. One of my favorite colors (red and black, sometimes purple, depending on my mood).

Anyway, just walking around and seeing this guy play drums, if you've been around me enough times, I'm a sucker for music or live performances. If anyone knows of any bands that are looking for a photographer, hit me up cuz I'm looking for photography work that would pay the bills. I'd rather do something that I enjoy for work and I have no plans of scrubbing toilets for the rest of my life. I'm not knocking anyone who scrubs toilets for a living. Even though I have a high school diploma and a limited amount of college between TCI College of Technology and LaGuardia Community College (LAGCC), I still have plans to do some music photography and some forensic (crime scene) photography. Anything morbid such as crime scenes or working as an embalmer for a funeral home. Again, I'm looking to set up a music portfolio and work on a music photography project in the near future.

Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! Namasté. 🧘🏽‍♀️ About yesterday afternoon, and I was in the city yesterday taking care of what I needed to take care of in Midtown Manhattan. I brought my 35mm Minolta X-370 along and it was so refreshing going on my photography walk! It's much needed with everything going on in life, cost of living, everything going up except for my paycheck, and it's always one thing after another (when does it end? It would be nice if we can get off this hamster wheel and breathe for once instead of jumping high when the government tells people, the tax payer, to jump high. How high do they want us to jump?). Photo three, I was walking to the water front, I saw the dog and took the picture (both with phone, obviously and with my camera). I didn't add my other Starbucks photos with this bunch but they're currently in the story here on Instagram until tonight and there's a bar at the Starbucks on 34 Street, second floor at the lEmpire State Building. It has a nice vibe to it. Three levels, didn't get to check out the lower level. Cheers mate!
